Behold... a fuzzy pink slipper...
It's the monster slipper without the monster from Stitch n Bitch Nation. I used Cascade bulky is ferocious pink with Lion Brand screamin' pink fun fur (I swear on all things knitterly that I detest fun fur but I couldn't help it with these slippers... slippers are allowed to to have fun fur, right?)
They were ginormous pre-felting and they are ginormous still.
This one at least came out to the right length. Its mate is on its fourth hot water bath as I type this. Gah. Not sure if these are going to be wearable. Thank goodness they're just for the house. (Sorry for the horrendous color in the pic... there's only so much I can with yellow laundry room lighting and antique photo editing software.)
TRUTH OR DARE
On to bigger and better things... like my sock yarn stash.
Now I didn't get all crazy and creative with my photographs like Miss Wendy did way back when. Mostly because my dogs refuse to learn how to work the digital camera. So here's my stash anyway

How many socks worth of sock yarn do I have here? I think 13. Maybe 14. There's a few Lorna's Laces, a couple Cherry Tree Hill's, Socks that Rock, Sundara, Knitpicks, Brown Sheep, Regia Silk, an unknown brand and Baby Ull.
Oh but did I mention this isn't counting the socks I have on the needles? I think we're getting closer to 16 pairs if we count that way. And I didn't photog the skeins already wound up... so we're at about 20 pairs right now. Did I mention the sock of the month club I just signed up for too? For the next six months?
I think I have a problem.

My sock yarn stash could kick your sock yarn stash's butt. I must be up to 45 pairs and 2 sock clubs. Now, doesn't that make you feel better!

I want to know when, if ever, sock yarn starts to count as part of your stash. Because I argue that it doesn't... And I have about 7 pairs worth of sock yarn that I can think of off the top of my head. Wait, eight...

Oh I won't mention how many clubs I'm invloved with and sock stash,, hmm do I have to post it all?! I love that regina silk and the STR you have hiding....lol
