***Warning! Picture-less post ahead!***
A quick post before I head out for TWO WEEKS! Yes, that's right.... I thought I would only be going on a work trip for one week but it's turned into two. But that's ok because I'm flexible and really want to transfer into a new position at work and by being flexible and HAPPY about the last minute addition, I further my chances of transferring. (By last minute, I mean, I was told on Friday at 4 p.m. I was going.)
So! Sam is good. The dopey drugs had a bigger effect on him than I anticipated but he's back to normal... digging away in his cell kennel. Both Sam & Jessie are going to doggie daycare until Tuesday, when my grandma will go pick them up and watch them for the remainder of my first trip. Sam has two meds plus Pepcid AC for his delicate tummy (he threw up A LOT) and a very bland diet of diet food. He's a "little" overweight and I've already ramped up their walking.
I then have 4 days (two of which are weekend days and don't count as far as taking care of "life" issues) to repack and head out for another week of sell, sell, sell!
Did I mention that I lost my entire set of keys (house, car, mail, etc.) in the big grassy field by my house whilst walking the dogs last night? Did I mention that I walked it twice in a zig zag fashion only to have the sprinklers thwart my efforts this morning? I figure that even if I actually found my keys in the 6" deep grass, they're so soaked that my car key with the fancy locking mechanism won't work anyway. So off to Home Depot to make more "spares" of the one and only spare house key I have left. I'll deal with my mail key when I get back.
Now I'm off to refill my coffee cup, dust, vacuum, re-sort my suitcase from the last trip I haven't unpacked from 4 days ago, drop the dogs off at the animal inn, make spare keys, drop off medication instructions and one spare key at grandma's house, pick up massive load of drycleaning (31 pieces y'all), pack and be at the airport by 7:00 p.m to catch my 9:15 p.m. flight tonight.
Whew! I'm already tired.
BTW, sangria consumption makes for a nasty headache in the morning.
