A little piece of my history

I found this photo in a box of family pictures.  I'd never seen this one before and I've been through the box several times.

My great-grandpa (my mom's mom's father) is on the far right of the photo and I cropped him so you could see him better.  Isn't he handsome?  He stood about 6'2" and had the bluest eyes.  My great-grandmother (not in the photo) was maybe 4'11".  Since he was born in 1902, I'm guessing this photo was taken in the early 20s.  Dapper is the only word I can think of to describe him.

I love old photos.  I'm hoping when I go to San Diego to help my grandma sort through her things to move up here, we'll find more old photos.  I'd love to have a framed collection of my family on my mother's side.

I love old pictures too. My grandfather on my Dad's side was really into photography when they first started out. He took lots of pictures of my grandmother and there were a couple of him thrown in there too. He was always wearing a 3 piece suit, and darn it if he didn't bear a striking resemblance to Christian Slater from the Heathers era. The old sepia finish gets me every time...
