What you see here is one finished Sockapaloooza sock. Why did it take me so long? I only had to rip back 2 inches once (when I discovered the pattern's rec for the heel flap was waaaay too short to be comfortable, imo) and tinked several rows several times (darn it if that "wine & knitting don't mix" rule isn't true) but here it is. I really like it. My pal's feet and mine seem to be about the same size so I was able to try it on and it's beautimus! Casting on for it's mate will commence today as well.
I will leave you will a couple random sky shots from an incoming storm and the blue blue sky I experienced yesterday (I think my nose is sunburned).
P.S. If you like to cook but don't like a lot of fussiness, I highly recommend watching Everyday Food. I watch it every Saturday that I'm home and am inspired every time. This morning I made the pancakes from yesterday's show and I'm in love. So delicious, light, thin and slightly tangy. Mmmm... top with sliced strawberries and syrup... Great food makes for a great weekend.

Hi Hun, so glad you got your 2nd package. I've not been well and have had a really busy time in the last couple of weeks. I hope that you haven't felt abandoned!
What you really like to see in your next package? Yarn and lots of it? I'm a bit stumped...
Take care

I made those same socks in pink for sockapalooza. Aren't they fun?!
